अखिल भारतीय कांग्रेस कमेटी की महासचिव, कांग्रेस कार्यसमिति (सीडब्ल्यूसी) की सदस्य, सिरसा लोकसभा क्षेत्र की सांसद एवं पूर्व केंद्रीय मंत्री कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि हरियाणा में यूरिया और डीएपी खाद की किल्लत ने सरकार की तैयारियों और व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। हर बिजाई सीजन में किसानों को खाद के लिए लंबी कतारों में खड़ा होना पड़ता है, जबकि सरकार नए-नए पोर्टल, सत्यापन और नियम लागू करने में व्यस्त दिखाई देती है।

कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि सरकार के पास "मेरी फसल-मेरा ब्यौरा", राजस्व रिकॉर्ड और किसानों की कृषि योग्य भूमि का पूरा विवरण उपलब्ध है। इसके बावजूद किसानों को उनकी आवश्यकता के अनुसार समय पर यूरिया उपलब्ध नहीं कराया जा रहा। प्रदेश के अनेक जिलों से खाद की कमी, लंबी लाइनों और किसानों की परेशानी की खबरें लगातार सामने आ रही हैं। सांसद ने कहा कि यदि सरकार के पास प्रत्येक किसान की भूमि और फसल का पूरा रिकॉर्ड उपलब्ध है तो उसी आधार पर पहले से खाद की मांग का आकलन कर पर्याप्त मात्रा में यूरिया और डीएपी उपलब्ध करवाया जाना चाहिए। किसानों को बार-बार पोर्टल, टोकन और सत्यापन प्रक्रियाओं में उलझाने के बजाय उनकी वास्तविक जरूरतों का समाधान किया जाना चाहिए।

कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि सरकार को तत्काल जिला स्तर पर खाद की उपलब्धता की समीक्षा कर पर्याप्त आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करनी चाहिए ताकि खरीफ सीजन में किसानों को किसी प्रकार की परेशानी का सामना न करना पड़े। उन्होंने कहा कि कांग्रेस पार्टी किसानों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए हमेशा उनके साथ खड़ी है।

उकलाना को रेलवे सुविधाएं दिलाने के लिए कुमारी सैलजा ने रेल मंत्री को लिखा पत्र

सिरसा लोकसभा क्षेत्र की सांसद कुमारी सैलजा ने उकलाना क्षेत्र की लंबे समय से लंबित रेलवे मांगों को लेकर केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव को पत्र लिखकर आवश्यक कार्रवाई की मांग की है। सांसद ने पत्र में उकलाना रेलवे स्टेशन पर टिकट आरक्षण (रिजर्वेशन) काउंटर स्थापित करने की मांग करते हुए कहा कि इससे यात्रियों को टिकट बुकिंग और निरस्तीकरण के लिए हिसार या नरवाना नहीं जाना पड़ेगा। साथ ही अजमेर-अमृतसर एक्सप्रेस, भावनगर-हरिद्वार एक्सप्रेस और विवेक एक्सप्रेस जैसी महत्वपूर्ण लंबी दूरी की ट्रेनों का उकलाना स्टेशन पर ठहराव सुनिश्चित करने की भी मांग की गई है।

कुमारी सैलजा ने कहा कि उकलाना तथा आसपास के लगभग 60 गांवों के हजारों यात्री प्रतिदिन शैक्षणिक, व्यावसायिक और सामाजिक कार्यों के लिए यात्रा करते हैं। ऐसे में इन ट्रेनों के ठहराव और आरक्षण सुविधा से क्षेत्र के लोगों को बड़ी राहत मिलेगी। उन्होंने रेल मंत्री से जनहित में इन मांगों पर सकारात्मक निर्णय लेने का आग्रह किया है।

The Congress General Secretary, CWC Member, Sirsa MP and Former Union Minister Kumari Selja expressed concern over the reported shortage of urea and DAP fertilisers in Haryana, alleging that farmers are being forced to stand in long queues during the crucial sowing season while the government remains focused on procedural requirements rather than ensuring timely supply.

Kumari Selja said recurring reports of fertiliser shortages and long waiting lines in several districts have raised serious questions about the state’s preparedness for the kharif season. She noted that the government already possesses detailed records of agricultural land and crop patterns through various databases and should therefore be able to accurately estimate fertiliser demand well in advance. If the authorities have complete information about farmers and their cultivable land, there should be no reason for shortages during the sowing season. Farmers need timely access to fertilisers, not additional hurdles in the form of portals, verification processes and token systems,” she said.

Kumari Selja urged the state government to immediately review fertiliser stocks at the district level and ensure adequate availability of urea and DAP so that farmers do not face disruptions in agricultural operations. Kumari Selja said farmers should not be made to suffer due to administrative shortcomings and called for proactive planning to prevent shortages during peak agricultural periods. She reiterated that the Congress party would continue to raise issues affecting farmers and advocate measures aimed at protecting their interests.

Kumari Selja wrote to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw seeking action on long-pending railway demands from the Uklana region. She requested the establishment of a reservation counter at Uklana railway station and sought stoppages for key long-distance trains, including the Ajmer-Amritsar Express, Bhavnagar-Haridwar Express and Vivek Express. According to Selja, the proposed measures would benefit thousands of passengers from Uklana and nearly 60 surrounding villages who rely on rail connectivity for education, business and other purposes.
